Parts for the lines that keep running
Our work ends up in bottling halls, food factories, packing lines, workshops and vehicles. Here is what we typically make for each, and why the details matter.

Beverage, bottling and canning
Filling and packing lines in breweries, wineries, juice and soft drink plants depend on change parts that are matched exactly to each container. Star wheels, guides and timing parts must be profiled to the bottle or can, and filler nozzles must seal and pour identically at every station.
We route star wheels and guides from UHMW polyethylene and phenolic laminate, turn stainless filler nozzles and valve parts, and machine the hubs, shafts and brackets that hold everything in place. Engraved station labels and plates finish the job.

Food processing
Food factories need equipment that can be scrubbed every day and parts that will not rust, flake or contaminate product. We fabricate stainless stands, tables, trolleys and boot cleaning stations, and machine replacement parts for processing equipment in stainless steel and food-suitable plastics.
Combining fabrication and machining in one workshop means the plastic boards, wear surfaces and fittings on a piece of equipment are made to suit its frame exactly.
Packaging and conveyors
Wherever product moves on a conveyor, parts wear. Guides, wear strips, sprockets, rollers and transfer parts slowly lose their shape, and when they do, product starts to jam or fall. Replacing them with accurately made parts gets a line back to running smoothly.
We make conveyor guides and wear parts in UHMW polyethylene and acetal, stainless and plastic sprockets, rollers, shafts and bearing housings, and complete sub-assemblies where needed.

Power transmission and general engineering
Sprockets, hubs, couplings, shafts and gears are at the heart of most machines. We machine them in stainless steel, mild steel and engineering plastics, as single replacements or matched sets, with bores and keyways to suit your shafts.
For maintenance teams and engineering workshops, we are also a practical extra pair of hands: manual turning and milling for repairs, modifications and parts that are needed in a hurry.

Automotive and custom one-offs
Not every job comes from a factory. Vehicle owners, builders and designers come to us for custom brackets, panels, adaptors and accessories that cannot be bought off the shelf.
One example is a louvred black panel with stainless threaded inserts, machined and then fitted to the side of a vehicle; you can see it on our CNC routing page. If you can describe or sketch what you need, we can usually find a way to make it.
Not sure if we can make it?
Ask anyway. Send a photo, sketch or drawing with a few words about what the part does, and we will tell you honestly whether it suits our workshop.
